Meet The Doctors
Welcome to Thanksgiving Point Dental! We are excited to have you meet the doctors in Lehi. First, Thanksgiving Point Dental in Lehi has thrived since it opened the doors in April, 2002. However, Dr. Armstrong, Dr. Clark, and Dr. Stringham, attribute the success of the practice to the quality and continual education of the staff and the caring and gentle manner in which our doctors administer dental treatment to our patients. Plus, we feel that when people begin dental care with Thanksgiving Point Dental, they become a part of our big, happy family.
John Armstrong
Dr. John Armstrong grew up in Utah where he developed a love for the outdoors. However, when he is not in the office serving patients, you will find him outside hiking, biking and enjoying the beautiful mountains Utah provides.
Furthermore, after serving a church mission in Bolivia, Dr. Armstrong received his undergraduate degree from Utah State University. It was in Logan where he met his wife Jill and convinced her to move to Nebraska to further his education. Additionally, after earning his DDS degree from Creighton University School of Dentistry, Dr. Armstrong took an opportunity to practice dentistry in Southern Utah. However, after raising his 5 young children and practicing in southern Utah for a period of 12 years, it was time to move his family back to the Salt Lake area and continue serving patients in this beautiful valley.
Dr. Armstrong continues to learn the latest techniques through continuing education. Plus, he strives to provide patients with results that look good, are comfortable, and last a long time.
Scott Stringham
Dr Stringham is an experienced and compassionate dentist who is committed to serving his patients with a gentle heart and gentle hands. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Southern California in 2006.
Dr Stringham did his undergraduate training at BYU and earned a degree in Human Physiology. He grew up in Montana where he learned to love the outdoors playing tennis and skiing. His wife Jane and their 4 children love to scuba dive and visit the ocean. His goal is to treat his patients like he would his own family to help them feel and look their best.
Stan Clark
Dr. Clark grew up in the Salt Lake area and returned to Utah to be near family and the beautiful Wasatch Front. He has been married for 30 years, is a proud father of four, and recently became a grandparent.
He chose dentistry because it blends science, artistry, and meaningful personal connections—bringing deep fulfillment to his life. Dr. Clark is excited to be part of the Thanksgiving Point Dental team and is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to the Lehi community and beyond.
In his free time, Dr. Clark enjoys traveling and spending time with his growing family. He also loves the outdoors and staying active—especially mountain biking, snow skiing, and golfing. One of his personal goals is to someday break 80 on the golf course.
